    Finally decided, now confused again!

After a very long research and visits to some LBS, I'm about to get a Trek Cobia... until I did a test drive on the Fuel EX 5.

I think they have almost the same components (RockShox Recon forks and SRAM X5 drivetrains). I like the Cobia's weight, EX5 is a little heavier but I do like its full suspension ride.

I will be riding them mostly on single-track trails with several stone steps and a few hill climbs. Will weight matter on this kind of trail? I will not be into racing due to my age, just for exercise and enjoying the hobby.

EX5 is worth $350 more than Cobia on my LBS. Is it worth the EX5 or I should be better off with the Cobia?

    Please advice.

I would go for the Fuel EX 5 by the sounds of it. You don't state your age but a full suspension will be easier on your back compared to the Cobia. Weight matters yes, shouldnt matter much to you if you are just out enjoying the hobby.
