Does Trek make frames in US anymore

I was looking at my early 2000s Trek 4900 and the Frame was made in the US. When I purchased the bike the price was not overly expensive. Why did Trek decide to move manufacturing over seas? Was it just the last bit of margin they were looking for?

Trek moved over seas the same reason every other manufacturer did it's too damn expensive to do buisness in the USA .They can get their product made for a fraction of the cost avoid taxes and still provide somewhat of a great product (depending on what you ride). With that being said they still do make bikes here it's just the high end carbon bikes like the project ones .

With that being said... Trek still makes more frames in the USA than any other company.

Curious it happened in about 10 years, like I said my early 2000 bike was not overly expensive at all. I would imagine most of the suppliers/parts/materials have moved overseas as well making it difficult to manufacturer in US even if that wanted to.
