Does the 2005 Liquid 25 have an adjustable rear triangle? (newbie warning!)

I have a 2005 Liquid 25 and noticed that the rear "link" has another hole just in front of the hole that the rear stays bolt to. Only the 2005 model has this as the older models have a different looking link. Does this mean that the the seays could be bolted there as well? What purpose would this serve? (make suspension stiffer?) I have noticed this on a couple other bikes too but have only seen them bolted together like the picture shows here: http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes...chive/liquid25

    Thanks,
    Jeff

The thing in the picture is a tube that connects the rockers isn't it? That is there to stiffen up the rear end not to attach the rear triangle to.

No you cannot bolt the seat stays there, it is not adjustable.
Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul.
