DH Fork on a 26er 3500 Disc - lol... possible?

Hey guys... my mate has got a 2014/2015 3500 disc (or it might be a 3900 disc ... they are all pretty much the same)

The front 100mm fork is rooted, and its just a spare bike looking to have some fun on it, bring it back to life so to speak.

Has anyone fitted a DH fork to a 26er hardtail?
    How'd it go? Any problems?

Or how about a beefy jacked up enduro type fork 150+mm travel?

Would handle like a dump truck. . . . . until you snap the head tube off of it. Have fun.

This. One advantage is you'll have your health insurance deductible covered early in the year.

Why not just run over the bike a couple times with your truck. Good times there too.
