New question here. Cake or Sugar, which is worth more

I have a dilemma, I snapped the frame on my Gary Fisher Sugar 3 a few weeks ago, and the kind people at Fisher have agreed to supply me with a new replacement frame. Yah! I can get the same frame has I currently have, or pay 150 (US$275) and get the newer Cake frame.

However I have since decided to take the opportunity to upgrade to a Turner 5Spot, and the frame I get from Fisher will have to be sold to cover some of the cost of the Turner.

So, my problem is, if I pay the extra 150 for the newer style Cake frame, will I recover that money when I sell it? In other words, is the Cake worth 150 (US$275) more than the Sugar?

    Any thoughts would be helpfull.

I'd take the freebie frame and take the chance of not recouping your $ out of the equation, it's like deciding to re-carpet a 50 year old house to try to get a better re-sale out of it.
