I have a dilemma, I snapped the frame on my Gary Fisher Sugar 3 a few weeks ago, and the kind people at Fisher have agreed to supply me with a new replacement frame. Yah! I can get the same frame has I currently have, or pay £150 (US$275) and get the newer Cake frame.
However I have since decided to take the opportunity to upgrade to a Turner 5Spot, and the frame I get from Fisher will have to be sold to cover some of the cost of the Turner.
So, my problem is, if I pay the extra £150 for the newer style Cake frame, will I recover that money when I sell it? In other words, is the Cake worth £150 (US$275) more than the Sugar?
Any thoughts would be helpfull.
