if you have both would be better. for what I understand cake 1,2,3 are the same while the dlx modles may change a bit because of the extra travel, the only meassurment that changes according to fisherbikes.com is the bbh, but that may also afect the head angle and the seat angle. thanks.

    Cake 2 and 3DLX

Seemed pretty clear to me. I can't really help.

Sounds like is also interested in the price point as both bikes are the same price.

Cake Cake DLX and Fat Possum

If anybody is interested, I contacted gary fisher directly.
    Head angle 70
    Seat angle 72.5
    Chainstay 417
All measurments remain the same in the DLX models because the rear and the front of the bike are equally higher.
I also got the Fat Possum numbers
    Head angle 68
    Seat Angle 72
    Chainstay 428.

I was just making sure he didn't mean the Cake 2dlx and Cake 3 dlx, which could be read into the post.

Realistically, the frames are the same...the fork is longer travel, and the front of the swingarm doesn't loop as much for the dlx's to make the extra 1" travel available.
