2013 Trek Superfly 100AL... Suspension bolts loose and backing out

MY superfly has about 100 miles on it and the suspension bolts on the rear shock keep coming loose even after torquing to spec. Today I decided to remove the bolts and check them, I was able to remove them very easy by hand with an allen key (the shop just torqued them yesterday). The bolt threads have the blue loctite installed but the threaded location is shinny and clean as if the loctite was dry on the bolt before it was installed...

Tempted to red loctite in lieu of blue.

Anyone else seen this issue before? Or is this normal?

I have a superfly as well, try some more blue loctite first and you should be fine. I torqued mine down a bit more as well and have had zero problems.

That's plan as I type this, just checked the rear axle pivot nuts (not sure that is what they are called but) they were finger tight (supposed to be 200 inch lbs). Sort of irritating.

And did it solve the problem? I hear your frustration as you think your bike is broke as you pedal up the hill. Good luck!

So far so good, I used a medium blue loctite and torqued about 15 in lbs above the minimum specs. Rode Sunday and Monday without issue, I will check them Tuesday before I go ride to find out for sure.

When you check the bolts just use a little pressure to see if they are lose. If you torque them again you will break the loctite seal.

They are holding snug since I applied loctite and torqued.
