I've owned a Flash 29'er for three years now and test rode the Superfly 2 days ago. The Cannondale feels a little noodle-y in comparison to the Trek. I chalk that up to the 12mm rear axle. Amazingly an XX1 Trek is thousands of dollars less than the top versions of the F29.

So are you in the market for a new bike? I was a day away from getting the scalpel, nice bikes either way.

    Nice

Just watch the cable rub on the head tube, its the only issue i have with mine. A bit of electrical tape will do for now till you get some thing more permanent.

I got some clear vinyl tape from Wal-Mart that is sold for fixing tears in auto seats, and covered where the cables rub -- on the top tube just behind the head tube. It's very good tape. I originally got it for control surface hinges on model planes.
