What about warranties? Are you taking that into consideration.

Well, I have a look at the warranty conditions but it definitely won't make the decision, unless crazy conditions like no warranty at all. Not the case for Scott and Trek.

My guess is they don't want to shock people with a 3K frame.
Based on the cost of the HT and the component build that is what they would probably have to retail it for.

Wake up sleepy 2013 Superfly thread

Anyone who knows if the bike has already been tested in a magazine? I mean a real test or review, not the article from the official Trek launch.

Because their single speed dropout system was junk!!!! I ended up sending 3 frames back and I told them i don't want to see a 4th one. I have run into a few people who started chuckling when they saw my bike and would tell me they had so many problems with it and finally gave up. The bike rode really nice but the dropout was the deal breaker. Hopefully they take that dropout system back to the drawing board. I would love to see them incorporate paragon sliders instead but they are too cheap and want to design something in house that will be much more cost effective.

Does anyone know if we can demo this beauty somewhere in Southern California?

I am tempted to order one, I was told december for the first batch. I would get the Elite version, upgrade the XT components to XTR and put a set of Mavic Crossmax ST on. Would be a gnarly race machine!

But yeah, I would like to try the fit & feel first, I never rode a Trek before.

Looking to receive my Elite SL in 4 weeks, can hardly wait....

Do you know, what fd does the frame take? I'm looking already to replace XT der's with SRAM. CRC does have pretty good discount on various parts and I'd like push order-button...

Weird how big companies (Trek, Cannondale) can't seem to get their high end bikes to the customers on time.
