2005 Klein Attitude V, is it worth it?

I found a 2005 Klein Attitude V for sale that looks to have been ridden very little..

It has different tires than stock and different peddles, that's about it..

It has a few minor blemishes on it that you can count on one hand..
He want $950 for it... I'm not sure if I'm on board @ $950 tho..
He's had it listed for well over a month.

I want disk brakes after a close call w/wet v-brakes.
My current Kleins frame doesn't have mounts for disks..

I'd have to sell my Klein Pulse w/Chris King stuff because I can't see a reason for 2 bikes and nothing really swaps over..

I'm looking for a little guidance?

    I didn't see a Klein sub forum..

I figured Trek was about as close as it gets..

For me too much money, that's why it's been for sale for a month.

You can probably find a very nicely specc'd 2011 Trek on clearout for that sort of money.

Brand new, full warranty, geometry and components that are up to date....

I found a bike shop that bought all of Treks new old stock of Klein's that were saved in case of warranty..

Turns out that Klein I went and looked at was decent, not the price tho and it
had some really bad chain suck to the point of worrying me for frame integrity..

The 2005 Kleins have very little collector value. If getting disc brakes is worth $950 to you then I'd say go for it, but other than the disc mounts that frame has nothing over your pulse frame.

Care to share the name of the shop with all the NOS Klein stock?
