    04 Tass convert to disk?

Anyone here ever convert their GF Tass to disk?
The front disk will be a piece of cake (oh the Fisher puns), the rear is what I am more concerned with. The holes on the frame don't look to be in the right place to support a 6" rotor. Do the 04 Tass disk bikes come with an adapter to push the caliper out farther from the frame? Anyone care to post a picture of their rear caliper on their 04 Tass? I should be able to figure it out from there, hopefully.

    Thanks,
    -Dan

    You need..

... an adapter that any Trek/Fisher LBS will sell. I think it's around $25 bucks for the piece. It'll bolt onto the frame and it's standard IS after that.

Dan, let me know where you ended up getting the adapter. I am in the process of upgrading my wife's 03 Trek 4100, and I might put avid mechanical on it.

The only Trek/Fisher dealer in the area I know of is ST Bikes. That's where I got the Tass to being with. I'll let you know what I find.

    Sung,
ST bikes had what I needed. $32 for the adapter.
The install was fairly easy. I had to remove some paint from the frame so the adapter would fit better. Here's some photos.
