Awesome! These were the two bikes I was trying to decide between. Went with the Patrol.
    Any chance we'll see a TR500 analysis?
I live in Denver but Minneapolis is home.

Yes, I will do it for the TR500... It might take a few weeks, but it's on the plan.

How do you think the patrol will work with coil shock, canecreek in my case? Some ppl say it's not progressive enough for a coil, and the ccdb it's one of the most linear coils out there...

How about the 2016 Turner RFX and maybe compare to other new DW links or the Evil Insurgent.

It will work well, the only problem might be the bottom-out. It depends on your type of riding. You can increase the progressivity of CCDB by increasing HSC (but you start to lose small bump sensitivity). With debonairs, vivid or float x2, you can tune the progressivity of the spring curve without messing around with damping.

Unfortunately there is no progressive coil springs available in bike industry...

Well, as the fist 1/3 of the travel is regressive I think it will be fairly easy to find a sweet balance between sensitivity and bottom out resistance playing with HSC, the only base setting I found for the patrol is with ccdbair and HSC settings are in the middle, I believe with with the coil the small bump sensitivity increases so more HSC control will be required which will help bottom out resistance, will find out in the upcoming days, tomorrow will start building the beast....

May I ask you to run this program on an Intense Spider 275A with a 160mm xfusion sweep?
    Pretty please...
