Here's a Pewter XL build that I received pics from Transition a few weeks back when I was inquiring about it and the TransAM 29er. Looks great!!!

    Videos accepted too...

This is almost a better product video than the original one: Bandit 29er ridden in Europe, including bike parks and a Mega! Awesome.

I've said it before.....I'll say it again..... the B29 standing still looks so right, you have to look a 2nd time to see that it's a 29r.....

Went with King hubs, flow rims, dtswiss spokes/nips (blue/black combo w/silver nips).

Long story short...builder is having issues, not sure if he'll come thru...maybe have to re-order from someone else or buy temporary setup.

    The bike really stands out!

No snow here in north east Australia but that looks like some terrain.

I didn't think I was going to like the pewter that much, but I'm glad I got it. I think it turned out really well.

30.8 lbs on the scale and it's a large.

Great looking ride. I am wondering about the fit of the large frame...how tall are you? I'm 5'11", but like a little smaller frame usually...also, what length stem are you using? The silver/pewter/black looks way better live than on the website pics! N I C E !

I love the green and the pewter equally, but I went pewter because of the parts I ordered

fingers crossed the bike arrives tomorrow..

ps. I would love to see a green frame, with both kashima, brown leather seat and any other brown/gold blings!

Sound like it's getting some new wheels when it takes up permanent residence with you. Nice work. (I skied with Matt this morning and mentioned you pulled the trigger)

I'm the same... 5'11". It has a 70mm stem on it. I thought 60mm would be too short for my taste. We'll see how it goes...

Is this replacing your Rune? I haven't noticed any updates from you in the Banshee forum, so I just assumed all is well with yours. I have concerns as I just finished building a new XL Rune frame that I picked up from DNZ about 6 months ago. It's heading to the Jamaica Fat Tyre Festival next month for a couple of days of shuttle runs in the Blue Mountains, so I am hoping no problems pop up.

I'm 6'-4" tall and wondering how you feel on the Transition at 6-5 and a 24.5" top tube.

    WICKED air!

Not too shabby for wagon wheels! Between your pics and LostBoyScout's North Shore rip... there should be silence among the doubters. Ha!
Let us know how it rides. Climbing, cornerig etc.

    Cheers!

    Steve,

Any chance I could meet you at Patapsco one day to take a quick spin on your Bandit? I'm debating selling my Yeti and the Bandit 29er is at the top of the list of replacements. Maybe a quick ride is all I need to make my decision

Same here. Pretty much no snow all winter... new bike arrives and so does a good bit of snow. Oh well it's going to be warm and raining tomorrow so it should melt that snow quick. There is always next weekend.

Anyone else get a ride in on their new machine?
