    TransAM 29er with 27.5+ wheels/tires

Has anyone done this? Can the TransAM 29er frame accept 27.5 x 2.8 inches tires? All this plus tires talk has got me thinking..........

Here you go, Trailblazer tires with scraper rims, for some reason im getting a little bit of rubbing on the left chainstay, the right side I have plenty of room, im going to see if the wheels are a little off true.

Any news on this? I have a Large 2016 frame on the way.
Very curious about this, though - aside from WTB's gateway tire, it seems like every manufacturer is going full reta..., I mean full 3"+, plus sizes. Can't justify building up a rear wheel for a lone tire model that may or may not be around for long. With the full plus tires running over 1000g for anything durable, I'd consider tires in the 850g & 2.7" width range if more were available.

I have the 2015 frame and 2.8" Trailblazers fit but not well. A local shop had a set mounted on some Stan's Hugo rims so I got to check for clearance. Based on how much clearance I had (2mm) I wouldn't be building up any of my own. I was sort of bummed to see they didn't fit as I was pretty excited about giving them a shot for winter riding.

Just went for it, I've put a 3.0 Chronicle front, 2.35 Ikon rear, both on Supra 35 rims (30mm internal width).

I would love to have Rekon/Ikon pack but the cost for the pair plus shipping and 30% of that total in taxes, make that option a bit "too plus" in money spendings.

So far I can honestly say these two work great for the trails I ride. I lowered the BB to a not-so-crazy low, which feels natural and very welcoming into turns. A bit softer than my V2 Paradox because of the tires, much more stable because of the BB result.

I can post a few pics tonight
