    TR-250 Suspension set up

Hey, can't seem to find any info anywhere on what spring I should be running.. I just picked up a 2013 tr250 an it came stock with a 500# spring. I even asked transition on the phone, an customer service said to check with the shock manufacturers recommendations.. doesn't make any sense to me. I'm 155-160#'s with gear on.. thanks,

I checked TFTuned.com and it puts you just under a 400lb rate spring.

cool, thanks. The bike shop put a 450 on, I guess I'll play around with it. Anyone have into on the travel adjust? the bikeshop was telling me the lower shock mount closer to the bottom bracket was the longer travel. But someone else told me no, the mount hole on top closer to the seatpost is the long travel setting.. also, does anyone have any starting points for the rear shock set up for the rc4?

The bottom mount IS the longer travel setting. As for starting points on the shock, put your weight # in air in the piggy back, put all the settings in the middle, set sag, go from there. That's what I'd do anyway.

FYI, you might want to look at this BinaryBike... http://www.reklamyig.nazwa.pl/serwis...TR250_2011.pdf

Also, customer service confirmed.. the lower mount by the bottom bracket is for 6", the upper hole towards the seat tube is for 7".. Thanks for the tips on the rc4, goin to Highland bike park today, will start with those settings!

Ha ha. Sorry. I'm pretty sure customer service told me the opposite, but it was a couple years ago... my bad.
