    Syren for trail/AM?

    Hi all
Have found a Syren that I may get for my girlfriend. But was thinking it may be too much bike for her. Is it possible to make one of these bikes trail friendly? She doesnt really jump or drop much but she really loves the bike. Would a 150mm travel fork work or stick with 160mm. I could definately get it lighter but would it still pedal ok.
    Any resposes welcome!

My wife has one she uses for everything just fine. Has a RS lyrik u- turn coil she can wind down for extended climbs.

    Thanks rideut
The bike im looking at comes with a 180 talas which im thinking might be overkill for my girl. Would most likely want to swap the fork for something lighter with less travel than the 180. I have a 150 revelation but from what i have read it may not suit the bike? Anyone tried a 150mm fork on the Syren?

built up one for the wife, ran it with a 160mm fox, front dr, lighter wheels. though still a bit heavy for trail use. now it is built up for dh'ing.

if trail riding only i would get something like a bandit
