Anyone ever tried a 8.5" x 2.5" shock in their Blindside? I have one I could put in their for the fun of it; wouldnt run it that way all the time as bike is plenty low and slack in stock form but perhaps on shuttle runs on steep stuff without too many pedal-grabbers. Looks like the geo changes on my '11 v5 (w/totem) would be:
Travel in longer setting: from 7.4" to 6.8"
Head angle: from 65 to 64.1
BB height: from 14" to 13.58"
Reach about 10 mm shorter.
wheelbas a tiny bit longer.
evereything looks good except that low static BB (but its height at full compression would be the same). ...Is that just too low? Thoughts?
