Hey guys I am looking for a new downhill frame to replace my ageing shocker which although size large, has always been too short for me and too heavy. Do you taller riders find the large TR450 long enough and can it be made longer/shorter by adjusting the geometry? Are you guys in wet/muddy climates finding the bike reliable/durable and is it reasonable to get a sub 40lb build on the large?

    Thanks!

    So 40lbs do-able for me I think.

Anybody know the actual weight of the 2011 TR450 frame? I understand it's lighter than the 2010.

Is that shot from Eurobike next years build kit? I'd be pretty psyched to see them coming with all Saint components.

Hi all from abroad, my TR450 2010 recently "released" last week in La Pinilla Bike Park, in Segovia, Spain. The frame is secondhand but in good condition, fork is a 888 2012 evo rc3 special edition, also secondhand but almost new, comes from a Commencal, and shock is a X-fusion vector hlr, rest of components come from other bikes.

Bike behavior is impressive, specially in narrow trails and drops, my only bad point is the horrible access to rear part of the shock to adjust rebound, is almost impossible due to the lack of space. Any suggestion for improve the access ?

    All the best!

So I am looking at getting a tr450 after having my tr250 stolen recently.

I had a Large tr250 and it felt great. Should I go for the med or large 450? The med 450 looks to have the length and sizing of the large 250. Has anyone been on both?

I've got a Bandit 29 (size L, F34, Hadley's, full XTR Trail, King HS, Dropper Post, Chromag stem/bars) that I'm looking to trade for a tr450. Anybody need a killer trail bike?

Whistler last year. Deciding now whether to refurbish my 2010 TR450, or buy one of the new ones. Such a good frame.
