Transition Bandit 2 ? First Ride Review - BikeRadar

Just wanted to share. I think it's pretty much spot on.

The bandit is on my short list of new bikes. Does any one know what has been changed from bandit 1-2?

Any one ridden the bandit 26 and 29? How do they compare?

I think the 1 & 2 are quite similar but the 2 has the new dropout system that allows for either 142x12 or 135x10...not sure of any other differences...

I'm interested in the 26 vs 29 comparison as well, I ride a B29 but split my time between fast/flowy trails and others that are tight/twisty, sometimes wish I had both bikes...OR...650b?! I find that while the B29 eats chunky trails without issue at speed, it takes significant body english to navigate the tight technical stuff without momentum.

Really? I find my B29 is really quick to turn around tight spots but i did buy M frame and have 50mm stem so my cockpit is really short, that being said, i find my B29 friggin awesome.

I'd love to try one, after riding a 140mm ht for a while I often think my Covert is a bit of a pig.

Any more feed back on the Bandit 26 or 29 would be great. I think the 26 would suit me fine, but interested in the 29. Have not had any serious trail time yet on a 29 yet, so still not to sure. I think either could be great for western North Carolina riding. No place to demo in these parts, so will be buying form reviews.
I love my Trans AM, but time for some rear squish!
