    Cracked Patrol?

I'm seeing talk on another forum of cracked shock mounts and stays. Think it might be BS. No one seems to be able to produce pics.

Do you all know of any issues?

We had one back after a week where the paint hadn't set well in a crease near a weld and looked a bit funny, but otherwise not a single problem. Sold many, for well over a year.

In fact, for over four years of selling TR not a single cracked trail frame*

Thanks for the reply. My last Transition was a Dirtbag and I don't have to tell you how bomb proof they were.

I think I was reading that same thread skyboss, and I was questioning it too. It seemed odd that all of the sudden these crack issues popped up, but historically on the Patrol I hadn't seen a single mention of cracks over this last 1+ years of the Patrol. Typically issues like this are seen as worse online, as that is what people come to forums for (partially), is to complain. Anyways, it hasn't held me back from ordering one.

Yeah, I freaking Love this bike. And frames crack, it happens. But when you have one guy claiming to have seen 4, and no one else posting pics. I have a hard time believing it.

I'm currently on a patrol for the last 6 months and have had no issues. But my buddy's patrol cracked the chain stay and another cracked at the shock mount. But warranty seemed to be fast and smooth for them.

Off topic, but I have a Transition Scout. I laid er down on the freakin Greenie (Greenbelt) a month or so ago - needed to get some pedaling in when there was snow/ice and that was all that was available. My left ring finger is still nicely sprained and takin its sweet time to heal, but the Scout if friggin bomb proof. The frame and mounts on that bike look solid. And, still respectably light for what it's capable of. Even more so the Patrol, I'm sure. The Scout is capable of way more than I'm capable of putting out, but I'll try!

Someones blowing the proverbial up the jax-sy, saying it didn't/doesn't happen.

As, if this was my ride - I'd be making a claim for sure.
