Hi,

Saw this beauty for sale at a LBS.

Here are some close shots:

I am no expert on bike components and setups, so i'm not sure if the current setup makes any sense. The bike felt quite heavy when i lifted it, but it did not feel heavy when i tried it out outside the shop.
Would appreciate some opinions based on the pics about the 'health' of the bike.

Finally, based on these pics, please help me identify the components.

Very sorry for being such a newb and for the long post.

I like to ride all trails that i can get my wheels on including steep technical climbs and fireroads. I don't do much jumping or tricks - just small drops and whatever the trail brings on me.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I've had 2 TransAm - a 26er and 29er. I still ride my 29er a lot, its fun, fast and simple.

The parts spec looks ok. I'd be wary of those hubs - the XTs are notoriously awful. Regardless, if the price is right I'd say jump on it. Even if the parts are so so, the TransAm is a frame worth upgrading.
