    Carbon Covert Lemon Lime

Hmmm. I struggled to get my bandit down to 28lbs even with crossmax wheels and lightweight finishing kit.

That Covert is sweet! The white rims, chain guide, two-tone saddle... and of course the white Fox, really make that bike pop. Beautiful.

Looks absolutely lovely. The yellow works with the white. Nice pedals too.

i think you will be surprised about the weight.
The frame is much moreheavier than specd.
L-frame black: 3.4 kg without shock, means 3.7 with the RP23, that's about 0.5 more!
Even more weight than the Al-frame

Dude, that's crazy. My Honzo weighs under 32 lbs, a 29er, steel frame, heavy build spec. Not what I expected at all for carbon fiber.

Would transition build a carbon rear tri for the covert?
That would lighten the frame further....
Its quite heavy given the current weight when compared to the rest of its peers like nomad c or ibis mojo

    Absolutely stunning.
I've just picked up my lime covert too and have started the build process.

Did you have any issue with your rear shock mounting?
The rear bushing (or whatever fox's new bushing system is called) seems too wide for the rear bolt, consequently there's loads of play. Am I being stupid?
    Any advice?

Hi. I had an issue with shock mounting. Plastic bushings were sitting too tight in the shock. So axle were not able to rotate free, as it should. I removed bushings from the shock and slightly processed it with the rasp from outside. When reinstalled, axle were rotating smoothly and buttery.
So I recommend to check this before you ride, because axle may be clamped with bushings and rub the screw, that's incorrect.
