Carbon Covert BB help / X0 Bb30 cranks

PLEASE can someone help me out??

I have a covert carbon coming end of jan which needs a PF30 bottom bracket, Lars at Transition said this:

"I'm 99% certain that the SRAM XO BB30 and PF30 applications are fully compatible...

Appears it needs to be 73mm though!?

I can't seem to find or buy a 73mm SRAM PF30 bottom bracket anyone out there assist me???

It's to run X0 cranks BB30 version

I brought a SRAM PF30 bb but it came and it comes up as 68mm and was OEM (no packet or instructions)
All the places I look it says ROAD needs to be 68mm MTB needs to be 73mm, problem is none of the shops n sites list a specific 68 or 73!

Anyone?? A link to one would be nice

Is it not a case of just adding a spacer or 2 that the BB normally comes with?

The SRAM PFBB30 works with 68 or 73mm. I used one with an X.0 BB30 cranket on my niner. From memory you install the BB, then you use the black 1cm'ish spacer on the driveside of the crank spindle. No other spacers.

Shimano does not directly support PF30 bottom bracket shells. They have their own "BB92" and other width shells which will only work with their cranks. But for Shimano cranks and a PF30 bottom bracket you would need to use one of the many adapters out there. This is an easy solution...

For XX1 cranks you would want the wider Q factor model.
