BANDIT 29- which fork is the best

    hey guys,
i just assembled my brand new bandit 29 2013. i decided to go with the 140 mm option up front and bought a new float 34 ctd fit.
it is quite stiff, but nut as plush as i expected. i rode it for 9 times, and i thought it's maybe because fox products are a bit dry out of the box. i went to the local distributor, and he add some oil on the lower legs. still- haven't noticed a big change.

i have an option to replace this one with a revelation 29 140 dual air with rct3.

does anyone have a bandit with this fork? what do you think i should do?
    give the fox more time?

    thnx

What CTD settings are you running the fork in and how much sag?

I haven't ridden the Fox but I really liked that revelation on my Bandit.

I've got a 34 140 fox on my 2012 B29 and find that it works wonderfully on medium and large hits, but is not incredibly supple on small stuttery trail chatter. My last F29 100mm was similar. Have not had experience with a modern, high quality Rock Shox fork to compare.

I have the previous F34 - 140mm FIT and it was plush right out the box, no issues what so ever, was as plush as my old Reba and Minute. Have heard though that the new stuff with CTD is not as nice/plush. My only concern going to an RS fork would be the arch clearance in case you like big tyres and/or ride in muddy conditions and need clearance.

BANDIT 29- which fork is the best-img_6553.jpgUpd
here in Israel we have all kinds of trails, but certainly no mud issues

the F34 of my friends from 2012(non ctd) is indeed much plusher.

i decided to replace to the revelation rct3 dual air.
my impression from 3 rides is amazing! plush as it can get!
and the rct3 is great against when the travel soaks when braking
fox really let me down with the ctd...

p.s.- that was my problem, but in my case grease did not solve it

The RS Revelation dual air is f**** amazing.
The plushest there is, and worked ten times better then the 34
