Anyone using the DB inline on a scout?

Anyone using the DB inline on a scout and came from the standard debonair? Give me your thoughts please.

Not trying to hijack but I figured my question was similar enough that I'd ask here too. I'm also wondering if anyone has tried a Scout with the Float X2?

I'd be worried if they had as it's not available in 190 x 51.

well that's a bummer, I'm glad I didn't waste too much time looking into it. now I guess I'm even more interested in the OPs question.

Yes, but I didn't ride the stock debonair shock, I took it off immediately and put on a DBinline. So if you want a comparison I can't really help you.

On mine from full open, 4 or 5 clicks of LSC, 3/4 of a turn of HSC, 10 clicks of LSR, and 2.5 turns of HSR. And that is with two spacers in the air can.

Yeah, and as Jeremy stated, you will probably want to put those spacers in the shock before you ride it. It really helps a lot with the amount of sag that is recommended on these bikes to have those spacers in there so it ramps up pretty good at the end of the stroke. Very easy to install the spacers, no tools required.

    from open
    HC 1
    LC 8
    HR 2.5
    LR 16
    1 large band
    17 or 18 mm sag

Was running 2 large bands and more HC, ended up a bit dead/harsh, and find it needs lots of rebound damping, but I've always tended on the slow side.

Thanks people, got the shock today but they only posted one mount 😢 so I'm waiting yet again. Be good to get these on the CC lounge with some description of what trails people ride.

After two weeks waiting for parts I got it back and I'm pretty amazed at the difference it's made the scout feel, much more planted for a start.

Hows everyone getting onwith their inline? After three rebuild mines be settled for the last couple of months.
Current tune is below but I sometimes feel like trying something completely different. Let us know what tune you've got yours at.

I just picked up a DB Inline for my Scout as Jenson had them at 50% off. Hopefully it doesn't have any mechanical issues!

I'm quite light (60kg/135lbs), would appreciate any tune info from similar riders

I picked one of those up myself. I figured what's the hurt?
But on a serious note, do you rhys? or does anyone have a tune for rider weight 185lbs in full gear? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Don't pay attention to the spacer inside the shock, because I haven't opened it yet (the shock came from a canyon spectral)

Hope everyone had a mint xmas! My new Inline just arrived from Jenson, so will hopefully have the chance to experiment soon.

Thanks payze for the settings. Though I'll probably start with the factory default and go from there.
