This would be fun as hell to ride! Coaster brakes take my back to the days when I was a kid and jumping my Magna and skidding my rear tires across peoples yards. Man I was an a$$ when I was a kid haha

Klunking 2 with Tone-Loc premiered at our Shoot The Trails event on Saturday night. It's pretty much over the top.

Pretty much the ultimate bar bike (though in Vancouver having fenders on the bar bike is pretty important) that you can then go rip around the trails with too.

I can't imagine riding this bike sober, but man I would love to ride it with a 2-3 beer buzz.

Talked with Transition the other day and all of the first run are already sold out. Basically if you want one, you better find your local Transition dealer and see if you can lock it down. I did that today when I purchased my Black and Blue one as pictured in the OP. Cant beat $550 for these.

Also Transition said they will be hitting the shops that have already ordered them approx. mid January. They said the Black/Blue and White/Red are only for the first runs. The next run is available to get on an order for possibly mid May's shipment. They are going to be (take this lightly and from what I heard) Orange and something like an old school Barracuda "Green" color.

So if you are wanting one then you better jump on it now and find one to reserve or pay for now!

    Schwinn...

Got a mid 70's Schwinn Heavi Duti that set the stage. Steel frame heavy duty wheels and balloon tires. Looks like a cool update. No "real" news here.

White and Black Klunkers have already sold out via Transition. You'll have to find one at a dealer. The next batch of Klunkers will be in the Spring.

I e-mailed Drop n Zone months ago asking for a matte black Klunker, they said they would keep my e-mail and let me know when they where going to get some in. Then about three weeks ago I e-mailed them again and got no response. I guess it just isn't meant to be.

Wow, check out the markup on this Klunker. What a bunch of fools.!!!

Transition Klunker - $899.00 : Hell On Wheels

I emailed Transition and they said they've sold out and are making MORE Klunkers in new colors too. So this wont be a limited run. (YES!!) We'll just have to wait for the next batch guys.

Being an Australian website that's about right. There would be a bigger margin compared to the USA.

It's easy enough to swap cogs, it takes an old school 3 speed type cog. I put a 19 on to make the hills a tiny bit easier. Here's a link: Sturmey Archer 3-speed flat cog, 3-spline, 1/8 in. - 20t chrome, Cassettes, Sturmey-Archer Bicycle Lockrings, Spacers, Cogs

Got to take it out for a quick hour ride this morning before work. Pretty much 45 minutes of carrying the damn thing up the trail and 15 minutes of an earthquake in my nuts on the way down. Goodtimes.
