Im running the 2012 version of bottlerocket.
Note: bike came build with the rear shock mounted backwards. and at 130mm (guessing) setup.
Here's my question:
Lets assume top mount as A, bottom mount as B
Which mounting is 130 and which is 150?
Does the inverted shock make a difference if i were to mount it for 150mm travel?
Here's what actually happened. while trying to set the shock, i mounted it on the top A with shock facing backwards as per original. Shock travel uptill midway. Feels like i bottom it out with the rubber marker max at midway with a thud feeling which i would assume should not.
when mounted back to B position, the shock is able to travel all the way without any bottom out feeling.
I would like to have 150mm travel, and ensure that the shock is able to travel to the max.
If i were to switch the shock around, the piggyback sits a little too close to the bottom tube, is there any issues with that except that i will not be able to adjust the low compression easily?
Please let me know if you guys need more pictures.
