Trail Builders Conference in Asheville- March

    Folks,

The PTBA (Professional TrailBuilders Association) Trail Builders Conference is coming to Asheville: http://www.trailbuilders.org/conference/ptba_conf.html

There is a lot of great content during the main conference on mountain bike trail and shared use trails, but also some great pre and post conference workshops including:

    Road to Trail Conversions: http://www.trailbuilders.org/confere...adToTrail.html

    Chainsaw Safety and Certification: http://www.trailbuilders.org/conference/Chainsaw.html

    Mechanized Trail Building: http://www.trailbuilders.org/conference/Mechanized.html

This is the first time that the PTBA Conference has come east, our normal location is Reno NV. For those of you trail building addicts, this is a great way to turbo charge your knowledge. If you contribute a lot to your local trails but can not afford to come, ask your mountain bike club to help sponsor your attendance, With the knowledge you bring back to your club, it is a good investment that will help your local trails.

We would love to have a strong contingent of mountain bike trail volunteers at this conference, please help us spread the word.

    Woody,

From NJ, part of the Jersey Off Road Bicycle Association (JORBA). We talked last year about training on the SK 500. This sounds perfect for us!

Yup, I remember you now. It will be great to have you. My partner Ed Sutton and our employee Valerie Naylor are both from Jersey so they will be good teachers as they speak your language.

    See you in March.
