    i wanna build a skinny

i've got a newly downed pine tree about 30' long and 12" diameter at the base. it's still barely alive so i know the wood isn't rotten. it's flush with the ground at the rootball and at about 20' out it's about 4-5' off the ground and about 8" diameter. the natural slope of the ground is about 3% and the tree is pointing uphill. my first thought was to cut it at the 20' mark and build a wooden exit ramp off the end. i've now got the idea to leave it long and just build a dirt exit ramp at about the 20' mark and figure something else out for the last 10'. any other ideas? i can get pictures this weekend.

Moonbeam's compost-powered hybrid generates a respectable 32 fruit flies per rotting banana peel.

    Winona Lake Log Ride

    - Fallen log with a ramp and a ladder build on top. After the curve to the left you can ride on another log and then jump off.
