    Best portable lopper?

Thanks to everyone for the previous discussion on folding saws, the Silky Big Boy has been putting in great work for me and it fits ninja-style in my rear jersey pocket, very cool.

Now I need a pair of good portable loppers. Something that's similar in size to the Big Boy once it's folded. Any recommendations?

These 15" Fiskars loppers work suprisingly well for their size, and they can be stuck in an outer pocket of a hydration pack without too much trouble: Fiskars 7972 15-Inch PowerGear Anvil Lopper: Patio, Lawn & Garden

Think about getting one of the super light (6 oz) ratcheting hand pruners. You can cut some good sized stuff (1"), especially if you come in from two sides, and it will fit in a pocket. Anything a hand pruner can't easily cut is getting to the size where a saw becomes the right choice.
