Torque wrench: metric or SAE hex set?

Hey guys. As title says: i'm gettin myself a torque wrench and not quite sure by which standard do biking components go - metric or SAE? Or it is in the mix and I will have to purchase both sets? Thank you.

Metric unless you're looking to repair some old bikes.
It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required.

I assume you are refering to Nm, rather than in/lb, or ft/lbs? It really doesnt matter as you can convert either way.

My torque wrench has both scales on it. I think armstrong makes it.
