    Tool for shimano BB

Im looking for a tool to fit a shimano saint bracket but im not sure what one to get, i dont want to spend lots of money on it as il probably only use it a few times.

Is it the same tool for cassette?

What kind of Shimano bottom bracket do you have? In the last 25 years they've done BB's that will take one of 3 different tools.

Its the Shimano saint M815 cranks and the add said it was the original BB

Im starting to think that with a bit of time with a grinder and an old socket i should be able to make one

Unless I am mistaken the Saint BB is same design as all the Shimano hollow-tech BB. One tool is this: Park Tool Co. ยป BBT-19 : Bottom Bracket Tool : Bottom Bracket
I like it better than the long handled wrench Shimano sells. Good luck to you!

The one above is great. I bought the Chris King version in aluminum. 1. I have anodized orange aluminum center lock nut for front QR 15 hub that i do not want scratched. 2. Soft aluminum for XTR Btm Bracket. 3. I will eventually get Chris King Bottom Bracket. The park tool version is the more economical high quality choice.
