    Removable Rear Dropout Bolts

I'm trying to find replacement bolts for the removable rear dropouts on my GT Force 3.0. Not sure why this has been so difficult. Have been to GT dealers and have contacted GT, but not luck (yet). If someone has a "heads-up" on this, it would be much appreciated. The bolt is like a chainring bolt; however, it's longer. I've attached a pic. It's about 19-20mm long (including head).

Problem Solvers has a 16mm chainring bolt. With a deeper nut it may work.

Know anyone with a metal-lathe that could make you some? The easiest way to do it would be to make up some simple top-hat shaped bushings or adapters that you could use with a plain socket-head bolt and nut with. I'd be willing to give it a try but you'd have to take some accurate measurements or be willing to send one of the bolts/nuts as a sample to measure from.
