Opinions on Diybikerepair.com videos
Anyone here ever checked these out? Admittedly I'm not a very good tech but I am mechanically inclined. I looked for local classes with no luck and the only shop willing to teach wants crazy $$.
Heres a link:
DIYBikeRepair® Easy Bicycle Repair Course With 200 Videos and Bike Repair Manuals
Don't spend the money on the video package!
The downside to that program is you will not watch those video start to finish and magically learn bicycle repair (and their videos are super low resolution-at least the one you posted). The best way to learn is figuring out general maintenance as you need it on your bike.
There are a ton of free resources online.
Art's Cyclery has a sweet Learning Center on their website where they go over a variety of topics on bike repair.

There are countless and endless FREE resources online (and You Tube) that you should look at before making any purchases like that. Don't spend your money until you give the free stuff a shot.
I have done all my personal repairs for my bike myself. Watching you tube videos of idiots, morons, and smart good people, showing you how to do it. You get the idea. Along with "Zinn and art of Mountain bike maintenance" book. Also, Park Tool has videos how to use their tools if you do. Then you have the bike and components manufacture websites that often has videos for maintenance on their items.
You can do it!
Although I have thought about going out west for a class, toooooo much $$ for me at this time ..
Don't ever pay for that. There are free resources everywhere online, including right here in this forum.
