    Mystery tool?

Does anyone know what this tool is for? I found it while cleaning out a box of older bike parts. It's stamped with 'Shimano' in their corporate logo, but I don't see anything like it on their tech site.

For reference, it's about 3" long, and the hex looks to fit a 13mm bolt. I'm wondering what the other end could fit???Mystery tool?-shimano-mystery-tool-compressed-.jpg

It's for changing studs on mtb shoes.
