Actually, a few stupids
I like to tear things apart. So when I got my slightly used Cannondale Trail SL 2, I decided to take off the front and rear wheels to clean it up a bit and see if it would fit in my Civic's trunk. At the time, I couldn't get the rear one off, so I just stuck it back in. And this is when my first problem arose. I realized that the rotors were rubbing. So I just messed with them a bit and now it's only an intermittent problem.
I'll skip ahead past the boring stuff and get to where I think that I messed up REAL bad. I got back from an especially muddy ride yesterday, and I decided to wash the bike before putting it up. So I took the ...pressure washer attachment... and sprayed my whole damn bike with it. Every inch. The delicate bits too. For a while.
I am now reading everywhere that I shouldn't have done that. Apparently it's really bad for the bearings. Now I think that I may have messed up my bike really badly.
I sprayed my entire bike with a pressure washer.
What do you guys think that I should do now? Should I just go to an LBS and pay them to look over it? Or is this not a huge mistake and can I maybe do a whole bike checkup myself?
