    Home-Made headset tools video

Even though I have done this myself with tips I learned here this cool video shows you how to make and use your own headset tools. These guys have a lot of nice instructional videos. I also learned that the folks in the UK at least call a derailleur a "mech" (sounds to me like "Mac") and that the front and rear brake levers are on opposite sides as here in North America from some of their other vids.

Yes, I agree. I'm using home-made tools to install my headset. There is no need for a cyclist working on their own bike to purchase expensive tools, unless they aren't handy enough to fake it with home-made stuff.

Installed a crown race with a rolled up thick magazine. Worked a damn treat.

I used the pvc pipe trick the other week. Worked amazingly well. although, I laid the fork on its side; didn't want to potentially damage the rebound nut at the bottom.
