Help with FSA Integrated Crown Race Reducer...

I recently got a new fork (11/8" straight steerer) for my Niner RDO (tapered head tube) I've got the proper FSA reducer to run with the fork and make it compatible with the headset/headtube.

Here's my question...the fork has what looks to be a race on it now that has a blue rubber seal around the top of it. I'm assuming I'll want to remove that before putting on the FSA reducer, correct? BTW, I know it seems like an elementary question, but I'm asking because on FSA's site is does show a bottom race with a seal on it and I just wanted to be sure.

    Thanks for the help!

Is the reduction of your system built into the race or into the cup? If you need an 1.125 race on the fork the existing one might work just fine. If the headset needs a 1.5 crown race that's sized for a 1.125 fork you'll need to swap them.
