Chris King cup press adapter for 1 1/8" nothreadset

    Hello to all of you

I would like to make my own headset cup press adapters, as I own a turning lathe. I'm looking for a person who owns the Chris King cup press adapters an is kind enough to measure them.

I found a drawing in different thread, but I'm looking for a confirmation. I attached it.

    Take care !

    Robert,

I sent you a PM, but for public benefit, I measured my King adapters for the 1 1/8" headsets and the small step measures 1.183" outside diameter.

The other dimensions on your attachment look good. The only exception is that your attachment shows .500" on the center bore. My adapters are all .875" bore diameter to fit the Park press. That dimension would obviously be specific to the press being used, so no way to say that dimension would be incorrect.

The step is 1.182" and .325" tall OD is 1.742" ID will obviously be sized for your press shaft.
