Can you true a rotor using the Park TS-25?

I'm mulling over ideas to outfit my garage and wondered if anyone has used a Park PCS-10 and TS-25 to true brake rotors. I'd prefer not to splash for a full truing stand and I think the TS-25 would be enough for me to do simple wheel maintenance. It looks like the indicator will slide close enough to the QR to be able to touch the rotor, but I thought I'd see if anyone had first hand knowledge. Thanks!

I've had pretty good luck truing rotors while the wheel is on the bike. Use the pads as rub indicators and true as needed. I bought a Park DT-2 rotor truing tool and it works great. I do have a full wheel truing stand, but haven't needed to spend the money on the rotor truing accessories.

    Good luck

This is pretty much the way to go, in my experience, barring a seriously out of true rotor.

I think it would be easier on the bike. If its not rubbing the pads, you're good. Its easier to see which way you need to bend the rotor on the bike as well.

Im a big fan of truing stands for wheel work, but for a rotor I think its best on-bike.

I guess I look at this from the opposite point of view; if the rotor is trued off the bike, that makes it easier to ensure that the caliper is properly aligned.

    Thanks for the feedback!
