Bike Hand 1/1.125/1.5 crown race setter

Waiting on this to arrive. A crown race setter was not on my must buy list, but doing all 3 sizes at this price was hard to resist.

Does anyone have one? How is it? Looks a little short for 7+ inch long steerers.

Got it. Felt weird initially, it worked like a slide hammer along the steerer tube.

Installed a Chris King race onto an RS fork. Initially I doubted it could do the job, but it did. I like it.

That style works pretty well; I occasionally use a Hozan setter that works the same. Sometimes the hammer model works better, sometimes the sliding version does. Both work about the same about 99% of the time. Biggest thing is to make sure that the setter sits on the outside (flat) part of the race/cone.
