X-Carbon rear suspension lower shock mount play?

Put my X-Carbon together today. its lovely, pretty light and rides nice, well up and down my road and a few steps!

I have some play in the rear linkage at the lower shock mount though.

I thought it was my seat and all sorts but gradually narrowed it down, its not the shock mounting hardware/spacer, there is some play between the mounting bolt and the mounting hardware/bush.

I'm reluctant to tighten the bolt any further [Is there a recommended torque, I''ll drop On-One a line on that one] but not sure it would resolve the problem anyway.

I've packed it with grease and the play is now negligible but I cant help think it should be a tighter fit.

Does anyone else have this, have you ignored it or got in touch with Titus/On-One?

    Cheers

Found an answer to a FAQ on Titusti website that suggests a small amount of play at the shock mount is normal. True for the x-carbon?

Also found an answer from Ben suggesting using the Racer x torque settings for the M8 bolt which is 100in/lb.

    Any other info appreciated.

I haven't encountered this problem on mine but will keep it in mind. Thanks.

I dissembled my rear shock yesterday and when I put it back together I had some play in linkage. I solved it by tightening the rear mount bolt, not super hard but pretty firm.

Yes, solved by torquing to 100in/lb as per spec. Didn't arrive that way!

I had the same problem. Pulled out the torque wrench and problem solved!
