What minimum steerer tube length to look for 2nd hand (Large EG)
As mentioned in other posts I am considering a new EG in size L. As I am on a budget I want to look for a 2nd hand fork. What steerer tube size should I look for?
EG size L.
Let the good times roll.
The EG has a short head tube compared to other bikes I've owned. 180mm of steerer tube should be sufficient if you're running the slackset, and even less if you get a headset with a flush upper cup. That won't necessarily be enough to get a comfortable riding position unless you like really low handlebars (or have a high rise handlebar).
What kind of fork are you looking for? I'm selling mine very soon. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.
