    Hi Warp2003

What's the purpose of the threads? Is it to just to list the different components attached to bikes or is it to know shock set-ups, stem lengths etc so people can figure out how to set their Titus bikes up? Should pictures be posted or not?

    Thanks

    Both...

Components are important for people to know which or what fork, shock, stem, wheelset, etc. is what other people is riding.

The MAIN PURPOUSE of these threads is to get the detailed specs like shock size, linkage, pressures, coil rates, dimensions, so people would have it easy to build a Titus frame and find the sweet spot for his/her riding. So, this info is more than desirable.

Also, there's the intention to have quick reference for specs like BB size, Setapost sizes, FD size and type... If you have noticed it, people is asking this questions very often.

There are also the questions of "which shock can I use with these rockers?"... so shock info and rocker info is important too.

    Pics are almost a must.

I've had no time to check the posted set-ups already, but if anyone posted only the componentry, the rest (especially potential Titus owners) will be grateful not to wonder which Bottom Bracket, derailleur or seatpost size to run.

    Titus action pics....

As with the database, these threads will serve to put share with other riders your action pics.

    Here's for the Racer-X

    Here for the Motolite

And here for the sick pics of you riding your Supermoto

The Switchblade was requested (only one vote, but I own one, so I'm weak with it ), so I just added it.

    El Guapo

Also, just like it's for the database... if you want to open a thread for other models, all you have to do is ask for it.

    Yours,
    Warp

Warp, thanks for remonding us of that site. The archiving of old web pages is awesome!!!!! I don't know why more companies don't have their own archives but it's sweet that someone is doing it.

    Hi !
So as you wrote, is it possible to you, to create a thread for the Titus Eleven, or a global thread for the HCR, Eleven and the Fireline's owners ?
It will be also interesting ! Don't you think so ?

    Thanks a lot !

What was the last year the switchblade was made ? I just purchased one for my son. How would I find out what year it was made? I was told it was an 08.

I hope this is on topic. My racer X had previous generation XTR discs(970/75 I think). I ran organic pads because the metallics howled when wet. I don't know if it's because the mineral oil can't take the heat on long descents, but at the bottom I always had VERY firm levers and not much brakes. I just switched to Formula R1's and the difference is amazing. Serious brakes!
