    Titus Modena

    Hey folks,
would like to know if anyone actually knows why Titus drop this design after the 07 model? Was it because the titanium with aluminium brackets just dun work ?
I tried asking Titus why, but there was no reply..
I've seen the 07 modena.. and its really really nice.. but I need to find out why it was discontinued...

    The Modena....

Was replaced in 2007 in favor of the full-carbon Oseo. The Oseo was discontinued in early 2008 because despite our best efforts, Titus was never going to be known or thought of as a road bike brand and the road bike market was flooded with carbon offerings, so we pulled out. The juice wasn't worth the squeeze so to speak. So now we stick to what we're known for and that is mountain bikes. We still offer a few road bikes, but we can control our inventory and investment into the category as all of those products are made in-house.

I hope this answers your question.
