I got this frame from an mtbr dude last spring - put it together with a mix of used parts I had lying around and here she is.
Last time I weighed it, it was 23.2 pounds - that was with an old skool Marzocchi Z2. Since then I've installed the SID, but also swapped a few other parts around. It's still prolly in the 23 pound range. Totally expenditure - in the area of $800.
Im looking to get on a Ti bike for somewhere around that too.... I'm shopping around right now, I have found a Flyte Ti, and some Airborne Ti frames. no titus' though.

The key here is I had parts lying around - headset, stem, bars, brakes, levers, derrailleurs, cranks, bb, pedals, seatpost, QR's, etc
I got the frame for 375, wheels for 100, fork for 250.
Unless you got a full groupo just lying around, you're going to spend LOTS more.
I have everything. x7/9 components, XT crankset, Mavic wheelset, SID fork. all of it.... just want the Ti frame. I am swapping most stuff from my full susp. bike over. I figure I want something lighter, and faster to race on.
