Titus cranks it up a notch--El Guapo, FTM, X

The crazy gearheads at the mothership have come up with a few free upgrades to their build kit 2 X, FTM), Long Travel Kit (EG) and bike trim.

They added some nifty Crank Brothers Iodine All Mountain wheels, Joplin adjustable post, and Acid pedals to the El Guapo. And the E-13 chain guide. Plus orange ano accents here and there, including the ODI lockons and headset spacers. All this comes with the new Long Travel Kit.

And notice the new 2010 DHX RC2 Coil shock- a free option to the RP23.

Aren't you glad you waited to get one. Release date is May 1.

X and FTM details and photos shortly.

The FTM and X new kits are the exact same price as the original kit 2 from their introduction.

The 09 El Guapo didn't have the Long Travel kit offered when it was introduced in September.
But the price is close to last year's plus the increase for the new frame.

Good to see them rehashing the build kits. Being aggressive is a good thing in todays markets and the pricing on the old build kits were a bit out of whack compared to their competitions build kit prices.

More like, not sure about those wheels for anything but a photo shoot.

Great looking bike, but your're right about those wheels... they are not rock friendly wheels.

Anybody know why the EG has a steep 68 degree HA with a 36/Lyric (or is it a misprint on the website) ?

Per Jeff at SOC today: $5395. I gotta say that it looks quite good in person. I rode an 09 EG around the lot for fun. Hmm so nice!! Almost makes me want to upgrade my frame.

You should do a PRO REVIEW of the CB wheels on your blahg...don't forget to include the unreleased DH version.

that is good advice...i have seen these wheels posted elsewhere so i do feel qualified for that review at this point; my blahg charter clearly states that if you see a product in 2 places, internet, mag, or otherwise, there is enough info accordingly to construct the much needed PRO REVIEW. thanks in advance
