    They found my bike!!

American Airlines called me yesterday that they could find my bike in Frankfurt!
It should arrive here in the Caribbean in a few days! This is unbelievable!
For those who dont know . I came to the Caribbean from Europe back in May, more than two month ago, and my bike never arrived. I really lost all my hope now and started to look for a new ride, and then what? They found it!
I don't wanna get too excited though til I see what's left in that bag after all this time.
    I will keep you posted!

Glad it finally showed up. Also hope it is still in one piece.

The one picture that comes to mind is one of those packages from cartoons that
are covered with stickers from all over the world.

    Super good news man!

I hate that empty feeling you get when something is lost, stolen or vandalized. Been there recently with cars and trails but thank god, not my bikes!

    Glad everything worked out!

Be sure to post pics of the box before you open it too - will it have stickers all over it like cartoon luggage?

Yeah. I lost a couple of things in my life before, but this was the worst. Every time it passed my mind: bang, that empty feeling. Hopefully it's over.

Great news! If only the bike could tell stories... I wonder where it went before ending up in Frankfurt? It's probably traveled further than Whafe!

Maybe you can claim the frequent flier miles.

So Kovi, what does the bla bla bla Airline say is the ETA on it arriving in the Carribean?

Is a ride in order for the weekend?

There is bike whores, then there is a travel whore like myself, would far prefer not to be a travel whore...........But on that, rather a good thought of jumping on a plane to Canada, then a short drive to Whistler, rather floating my boat big time.. No sleep last night, was dreaming of A Line.......................

Kovi... sorry for the news... Now where's the excuse to buy an EG? They should have found it the day after you ordered a new bike

Actually, I'm pretty glad that they found it. Have some great time over there...

Yep, I didn't realize it. You could just go straight to the EG without deciding between the ML 2 and EG.

Honestly, it would be a very hard decision. I will defenetly do a test ride with that handsome in the future. And then, I will know exactly if I will have an early frame number out of the Ti line .

Our daughter got married in the Turks & Caicos in June of '06. Where do you mountain bike there? I didn't see much terrain suitable for mountain biking.

Well....you are right, there's no mountains here at all. I just moved here, and the lack of mountains was one of the things that kept me hesitating. But I can train here on the dirt roads, and I am close enough to the US of A to do some nice biking trips.
