    Stup!d Rapid Rise! X-Carbon Set-up question...

So, I get my new X-Carbon set up with my old XTR 960 vintage kit. Everything's humming along super-sweet, crisp shifting, super smooth. Then comes the downhill, and klunk! There it is again! Klunk! Turns out that after years of using Sram, and now with a Shadow Saint on my Guapo, I completely forgot all about the klunky 960 stuff, and how rapid-rise deraileurs just love to klunk into Horst links.

So I have to ask... since I just love the dual-control... is there a low-normal rapid rise deraileur out there that will give me some clearance?

And don't say "try Sram". Been there, done that. Got four X9 short and mid cage rear deraileurs hanging on my wall, bent all to heck or otherwise destroyed.
Like half of everything I ride comes out of Jenson. Figure that out.
