still in love with the El G, don't listen to Geo!

I lost some of my confidence and went on the prowl for a bigger bike to get it back, then said screw that! What a terrible plan, I've earned it back now.........so anyway here's some stoke from this morning on a new line I built on the AMA, a 17' hip to a 21' stepdown, enjoy

Looking good Wasea. Good plan on keeping the Guap...you'd be beyotchin' abou the ultra high BB height on that Uzzi anyway...unless you want to talk about the 09 Uzzi (that is a sweet bike!).

Titusbro, Man I love the steep chunky terrain, very sweet, nice riding too! I keep seeing photos and vids from TiSSer and others and it's making me want to get down there and ride SoMo as I've never ridden down there, I've got some family in Mesa...........it's time to visit

Dang! That's huge. So is that new 21' foot gap right after the step down as you cross the road?

Looks like the EG is handling it just fine. Nice call.

SoMo..... AZ Spring Fling is coming up. Let's go, man.

when does that happen.......if it's during spring break I'll have a difficult choice to make........SoMo or Cancun Yeah right, I'd actually be going to the paclife tennis tourney in Indian Wells to see my boy Federer throw it down.

Oh and to answer your Q about the new line, it starts where you'd normally head up the hill to hit the rock skinny and the triple crown drop, instead you stay left....hip into the road embankment.....cross the road and launch the stepdown......you tie back into the main line just below the two big doubles. It was lame about the windy conditions when we'd tried to ride it, but that's ok, you sent it nicely over at paradise!

I don't see what in the world the Guap would have any trouble handling? Esp with a pilot such as yourself apperantly.

This thread could have been titiled simply "don't listen to Geo" however.... Unless your wanting to have a new cobblestone pathway built to your front door or something?...

Here's a link to the site. Looks like March 18-22.

Although.... as much as I like to meet a lot of new folks and as fun as the AZSF sounds, I really would rather just go with a small group and have a few of the locals show us around.

Our spring brake is April 13-18th and may try and work a trip down then. My wife's sister lives in Mesa and she's due to visit her.

Oh BTW, I really like this pic. Nice flight.

    crest, then whip it.........

Here's one more shot to give you an idea of the heighth the hip gives you.......it feels magical, you just float.......and right as you crest you whip your tail.....I decided to post this because it's a cool shot of how I'm preloaded up right before whippin' it out......and yeah your dang right I'm a showboat No, this is the precursor to the first shot of myself on the hip. Krob, I talked with Ben and he's excited about SoMo too, I just took a look at the NRA Pit thread and man I'm pumped about that thing!!!!!

I think we're looking at late February to head to AZ, plans still aren't concrete yet.

To answer Anvil: To my knowledge the only place you could've ridden an 09 was at I bike as they haven't shipped yet.
